Day 1: Arrive Christchurch

On arrival at Christchurch Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Christchurch - Mt Cook - Queenstown (620 Kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. An early start following the shores of Lake Wakatipu, and through Te Anau where you will be enthralled by the immense landscape. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains, on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound cruise. Cruise past Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea, and admire the Stirling and Bowen Waterfalls as you cruise out to sea. Return to the pier for the coach back to Queenstown. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Milford Sound Excursion (600 Kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. An early start following the shores of Lake Wakatipu, and through Te Anau where you will be enthralled by the immense landscape. Return to the pier for the coach back to Queenstown. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Queenstown

Breakfast at the hotel. Relive the elegance of turn-of the century travel with a cruise on the iconic vintage steamship, the TSS Earnslaw. You may disembark at Walter Peak High Country for an excursion to the Colonel’s Homestead and an insight into New Zealand’s farming lifestyle. (The “TSS EARNSLAW” is on annual service in June and July and will be replaced with an alternative activity). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Queenstown – Christchurch (500 Kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning travel through Kawara George to Cromwell and Omarama, Lake Tekapo and across the Canterbury Plains before reaching Christchurch. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Depart Christchurch

Breakfast at the hotel. Early this morning a tour on the “Hot Air Balloon” is suggested if time permits. Transfer to the airport is included for your departure flight.
