Day 1: ARRIVE LUCERNE

Arrival in Lucerne by train 2nd class from the Swiss border or any Swiss airport. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 2: MOUNT TITLIS - optional

After breakfast at the hotel, we recommend you the excursion to Mt. Titlis. Enjoy a ride in the first revolving gondola to Mount Titlis, 3020m/ 10’000 ft. In Lucerne you board the LSE-train to Engelberg. There a small gondola takes you up to the Trubsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand. Finally the revolving gondola takes you up to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close up insight into a glacier you visit the glacier cave and ride the ice flyer chair lift. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 3: Lucerne – Interlaken

Rail journey over the brunig Pass to Interlaken situated between the lakes of Thun and Brienz and at the foot the famous trio of the peaks. Arrive in Interlaken Ost for Overnight stay.

Day 4: Interlaken - Montreux

Scenic rail journey passing alpine forests, crystal clear mountain streams and picturesque mountain villages. Take the GoldenPass Panoramic BLS train FROM Interlaken Ost to Zweisimmen and further by GoldenPass Panoramic MOB train to Montreux on the Riviera of Lake Geneva. Overnight in Montreux.

Day 5: Montreux– Zermatt

We take the train from Montreaux, the famous car-free Alpine resort Zermatt. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 6: Gornergrat

By cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat with views of the Majestic Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and other spectacular summits. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 7: Zermatt- St. Moritz

Board the Glacier express and enjoy one of the greatest rail journeys in the world. A 7 ½ hour rail journey takes you across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the overalp Pass at 23033m to st. moritz. Overnight in st. Moritz.

Day 8: Departure

Return to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland at your own request.
